The Geelong Post-Junk project, Special Guest, are an amalgamation of both post-punk and noise-rock. Their artistry is an enticing array of hyper-melodic guitar, tightly wound percussion and theatrical vocals accompanied by unwavering synth glitches. 2026 has launched Special Guest onto national and international stages, selling out headline shows across Victoria and sharing lineups with figures such as Drop Kick Murphies, Godsmack, WARGASM, C.O.F.F.I.N, These New South Whales, Mini Skirt, Queenie, Drunk Mums, Wil Wagner, and more. In August of 2026 Special Guest played Europe’s largest free music festival, Pol’and’Rock, with an audience of 750,000+ people.
